McCain-Palin ?
Posted by Jim Walsh on Friday, August 29, 2008
As I write this (Friday morning), John McCain has not yet announced his running mate. My hope, and prediction is that he will name Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Not a household name, and she’s not going to add her home state to McCain’s electoral tally (Alaska, after Utah, is about as red-state as it gets). But she is smart, conservative, principled and (shallow me) attractive (a former beauty queen).

For more information and a post that I wish I had written, see this post at Columbia Compass.
