Do any of the parties in this development/preservation debate have any information as to the original patent holder of this land?
I’m researching my family history and the Caleb Dorsey original patent holders map shows the 150 acre Whittakers Chance being part of the Park in my best estimation.

I am a resident of howard county and am doing a research on the recycling life of paper. How does the process work? How much per resident is estimated in usage and that is recycled? Any information concerning the recycling of paper in this county would be helpful. Thank you.

We got our seasonal flu shots in Howard Co. today. We arrived at 9:15 and were leaving at 10:30.The lines were moving pretty well but as we were leaving we could see traffic backed up just getting to Gateway. I think they should have these clinics in each persons own county, this would help with the traffic problems that may arise. They should also extend the hours.

Me thinks kenny boy is up to his old political hatchet job again…is anyone aware of his newest attempts to submarine the Howard County Soil Conservation District?

Contact the County Council ASAP show your suppport for HCSCD & IMPARTIAL development plan review that considers the best for Howard County taxpayers, environment and our children… NOT developers and Ulman’s war chest.

ps will have periodic updates on ulman admin wasteful spending.

neither “side” has a monopoly on the “achieve the goal in incremental steps…all the while denying the end game can happen” playbook.

I think it is reasonable to be anticipating the likelihood that any change can and will be built on toward a long term goal.

This is also true of reproductive rights limitation efforts, fire arms restriction efforts, taser use, as well as the seat belt issue mentioned in the post and health care reform.

Vigilance is a good thing. Although I have to think throwing all that effort behind productive molding instead of simple obstructionism would be a better plan.
