Vote for this Democrat

Posted by David Keelan on Thursday, June 1, 2006

A friend of mine in Montgomery County has decided to run for the Maryland House of Delgates, District 18.

Al Carr.  A real stand up guy, fiscally conservative, well rounded, good local experience, and a tax cutter.  He is also the only minority candidate in ther race.

The Gazzette has a profile of him.

He is running for one of three seats.  Their are 9 challengers, 2 of which are incumbants.  Apparantly the GOP didn't put up a candidate in 2002.

I hope to be able to help him out since I have 6 in-laws in his district.  Perhaps a coffee meet and greet?

Washington Post story on other potential and filed candidates.
