  • Arrived in Howard County 16 years ago, it didn't take him long to consider it home. "I decided this was where to settle and have roots," said Fox, a Republican candidate for the District 5 County Council seat.
  • "I consider running for office part of my civic duty."
  • "I'm not driven by concentrating on one issue and ignoring others."

    erves as its director of business development, responsible for energy conservation and renewable energy projects at Constellation Energy working with government, commercial and industrial clients to help them reduce their energy costs and consumption.

  • Worked on three subcommittees of the State Task Force on Facilities Energy Management, which sought to make
    Maryland government more energy efficient.

    His wife is a schoolteacher who works outside of the county
