What is it about “global warming” that you don’t “believe”? Do you not believe the earth is getting warmer? Do you believe the earth is getting warmer but doubt man is responsible? Do you not believe melting polar ice, rising sea levels, loss of wildlife are worrisome?
Please specify what part(s) of the “global warming” snowjob you doubt.

    thank you,

  2. Cindy,

I have gone over this in great detail before. You can refer to my previous posts on the subject. Additionally, you can refer to the Climate Change tab on top of the blog.

    Cindy,

How about the fact that there is climate change but man has nothing to do with it. It is a normal cycle. Or is the fact that Mars is getting warmer also because of the SUVs we export to Mars?

    Cindy,

There’s a lot that is not talked about as far the causes of temperature fluctuations. Forest fires, solar flares, volcanic activity, etc., all can have significant impact on the climate. And, as oogie pointed out, the climate is cyclical. Not 30 years ago the “experts” thought we were headed for a new ice age. Never happened.

I’m not saying that people should try to conserve energy, and reduce waste, and not drive for hell of it. But, I don’t see this as the end of the world either, like Mr. Gore does.

When Mr. Gore and the celebs who bash Bush on a daily basis give up their mansions, and personal jets, and so on, then I might respect their opinions a little more. Mr. Gore is, in my opinion, and Inconvenient Fraud.

Oops. I meant to say: “I’m not trying to say that people should NOT try to conserve…” Left out a key work there. In other words, I still believe people shoudl make an effort to conserve, even though I don’t agree with the prevailing apocolyptic mindset.

Maybe Al Gore can use his Million dollar Nobel Prize money to buy more carbon credits.
What a joke. I used to think that was a prestigus award.
